ALS serves up German shipment

Abnormal Load Services' (ALS) offices in Hull, UK and Moerdijk, Netherlands have coordinated the transport of a 131-tonne plate mill roll from the UK to Germany.

The machine was transported on a modular trailer from the UK manufacturer's site to a port in the UK, accompanied by ALS' escort car.

From the UK, the cargo was transported to the European mainland, and, after a multimodal transport solution, was delivered to ALS' client in Germany.
