COLI Logistics is progressing with the delivery of brewery equipment to Japan, with the discharge of 3,000 cu m of cargo at the port of Tomakomai.
COLI Logistics is tasked with the transport of whisky distillery equipment. In total 43 pieces, weighing 170 tonnes, were shipped from Antwerp to Tomakomai. Following discharge, the first units were carefully stored for two weeks to complete Customs clearance procedures.
Since then, local transportation has commenced, with units moving day and night to ensure smooth onward delivery to the distillery site.
As part of the door-to-door operation, COLI Logistics has coordinated complex truck-barge-vessel coordination, night convoys and just-in-time handling.
