The crane measured roughly 27.5 m x 6.5 m x 13 m and weighed 90 tonnes, with a total volume of 2,323.8 cu m. Executed on a ‘last in, first out’ basis, precise planning and execution against tight time constraints were crucial.

Iscotrans performed the final transfer offshore using a double banking manoeuvre, whereby the vessel moored alongside the offshore unit, enabling direct crane transfer without port docking. This required aligned coordination between operational teams, vessel crews and commanders to ensure maximum safety and efficiency.

In September, Iscotrans made a pair of appointments, with Gian Luca Torchio brought in as key account manager energy, oil and gas, and Deepesh Rajan appointed head of projects and business development UAE of Iscotrans Middle East.
