Malaysian project logistics specialist Megalift, member of the XLProjects (XLP) network, has handled heat recovery steam generators (HRSG) for the 1,200 MW gas-fired combined-cycle Pulau Indah power plant in Port Klang.
Appointed as the official project logistics service provider in Malaysia, Megalift will be handling the transport of equipment for the project until it’s completion in 2024.
The HRSGs arrived in Malaysia on both containerised and breakbulk vessels.
Meanwhile, fellow XLP member Global Logistics Projects transported a gondola cabin from Switzerland to the USA. Part of the transport saw the cabin moved from the port of Antwerp in Belgium to the port of New York, with the final destination at the Snowbird ski resort in Utah.
