Turkey’s Bati Group, a member of the Project Cargo Network (PCN), has handled the delivery of three 50-ton (45.4-tonne) kiln tyres from the port of Derince to Düzce.

With a diameter of 6 m, Bati used lowbed trailers for the port handling and road transport to Düzce. The project team had to overcome several challenges for the project, including steep mountainous roads and sharp turns.

Elsewhere, Gruber Logistics coordinated the transport of various rotary kiln parts in Malagueno, Argentina. The shipment consisted of 115 packages and arrived in Zarate from Shanghai, China.

Fellow PCN member Centauro handled on-carriage to the project site in Malagueno.

Meanwhile, M-Star Freight Services, also a member of PCN, handled the transportation of an 82-tonne heat exchange reactors from Porte Marghera in Italy to Kolkata in India.
