October 17 - From autumn 2016, A2SEA will play a key role in helping to build the 402 MW Dudgeon Offshore Wind Farm in the UK for Statoil, Masdar and Statkraft.
A2SEA will provide its specialist purpose-built offshore installation vessel Sea Installer to install the 67 Siemens 6 MW turbines.
Dudgeon Offshore Wind Farm is located in the North Sea and will provide approximately 400,000 households with renewable power by 2017.
"It is with great pleasure and proudness that A2SEA will install the 67 Siemens 6 MW turbines on the Dudgeon Offshore Wind Farm in the UK. We have great experience with installation of the 6 MW Siemens turbine from two former projects," says Jens Frederik Hansen, ceo at A2SEA.
A2SEA says it has installed more than half of the Northern Europe's offshore wind farms.
