April 25 - Cargolux Airlines International has delayed the start of its scheduled services to Zhengzhou, China, from April 24 to May 29, 2014.

Cargolux explained that the delay is to enable the airline to finalise all regulatory requirements relating to the commencement of scheduled flights to Zhengzhou, which arose due to unforeseen procedural changes in the manner in which information has to be submitted and approved by the relevant aviation authorities in China.

The cargo that has been booked on the flights affected will be re-routed on Cargolux's other flights into China so that impact on customers will be minimised, said the airline.

Whilst this delay in operations was unexpected, said Cargolux, the demand for its Zhengzhou flights to date has proved to be robust.
