April 28 - Project cargo forwarder ADM Team Heavy Weight (ADM-THW) transported two dryers measuring 10.0 x 3.30 x 4.0 m and weighing 78 tonnes from Lorient, France to the port of Antwerp, Belgium.
ADM-THW chose semi-low bed trailers to undertake this transport. The total transport dimensions became 23.0 x 3.3 x 4.85 m and 120 tonnes in weight.
Despite the out of gauge dimensions, and issues with the time required to obtain permits from the French authorities, the consignment successfully made the quayside for timely loading.
