June 22 - An ammonia converter, weighing 575 tonnes, is being shipped from Mumbai Port to Shanghai, China onboard Chipolbrok's CP Sun on behalf of engineering conglomerate, Larsen & Toubro.
The ship's two 320-tonne capacity cranes were used to load the cargo onboard. Currently, Chipolbrok has a multi-purpose fleet of 22 geared, semi-container ships, four of which are equipped with cranes able to lift heavy loads of up to 640 tonnes. A number of newbuilds are anticipated over the next 12 months.
