Cargo is moved from Southeast Asian regional ports including Jakarta (Indonesia), Port Kelang (Malaysia), Bangkok (Thailand), Haiphong (Vietnam), Keelung (Taiwan) and Singapore. Shipments are then routed by rail through the China corridor - from Lianyungang port in northeastern China to the Kazakhstan border crossing of Dostyk - and then on to Almaty.

"The route from China to Central Asia has been underused in the past as you need to have expertise in managing rail operations across Central Asia and A.R.T. Logistics has its own team of professionals who ensure all documentation is in order a the China- Kazakhstan border. This ensures a seamless transit for all shipments," explained Tatiana Serova, commercial director of A.R.T. Logistics.

A.R.T. Logistics manages the service from door-to-door. It will use its own fleet of containers on the service, as well as being able to handle heavy and project cargoes. A.R.T. Logistics will use its experienced freight team - who all speak Russian, Chinese and Kazakh - to guarantee effective communication with Customs and border officials and to minimise the chances of freight delays and bottlenecks.
