February 3 - Japanese project forwarder Yabuki Kaiun has worked together with The Freight Thailand to handle the shipment of a dynamometer and an environmental chamber from Yokohama to Honda's research and development centre in Bangkok.

The consignment included 54 units, carried by 12 flat rack, high cube and open top containers.

Yabuki Kaiun coordinated the logistics from the shipper's site in Japan to the Port of Yokohama, as well as the chartering of a vessel to Bangkok. The Freight ensured the safe discharge of the cargo and transport to its own 25,000 sq m warehouse in the Thai capital.

The loading of the cargo onto lowbed and flatbed trailers at the warehouse was supervised by personnel from both Yabuki Kaiun and The Freight, before the consignment was delivered by road to the Honda facility.
