June 19 - Germany's BBC Chartering has strengthened its position in the South Korean market.

Following a recent reorganisation, a team of ten employees at BBC Chartering will deliver chartering, operations and technical services in South Korea. The unit is led by Paul Kim as managing director.
 
Lars Schoennemann, managing director of BBC Chartering's Singapore office, commented: "(South) Korea represents a strategic growth market for us. Here we clearly strive to play a bigger role in the future. We are pleased about the possibility to further expand and help our clients with our global shipping solutions."

BBC Chartering has a wide presence in the Far East with divisions in Shanghai, China; Tokyo, Japan, and a regional headquarters in Singapore.
