Blast off for Streamlines in Canaveral

February 4 - StreamLines' new Blue Stream liner service has become the first liner service to call at Port Canaveral's Canaveral Cargo Terminal, which is operated by Gulftainer USA.

The arrival of the multipurpose vessel Norderoog at Port Canaveral marked the launch of the Blue Stream service, which connects Canaveral Cargo Terminal with Central America, South America, Europe and the Caribbean.

Canaveral Cargo Terminal opened for business in June 2015 with 20 acres (8 ha), two berths and two gantry cranes to serve large vessels.

As well as containers, StreamLines also carries steel and project cargo, including yachts, boats, trucks and machinery.
