December 19 - The Brazilian division of Blue Water Shipping has completed the discharge, heavy lift and storage of two 860-tonne mooring buoys on behalf of the Netherlands headquartered Bluewater Energy Services BV.

The cargo arrived at the Port of Vitoria in Espirito Santo, Brazil on a heavy lift vessel to be installed in Brazilian waters for the energy company, Petrobas.

After the buoys, which were each 19 m high with a diameter of 25 m, had been discharged from the vessel, they were transported from the quayside to a storage location on a 44-axle SPMT.

Earlier this year Blue Water Shipping's Rio de Janeiro office was involved in the load out of 9,000 m of anchor chains for the same project.

In Brazil, Blue Water Shipping is located in Sao Paolo, where its primary activity is reefer shipments. A second Brazilian office in Rio de Janeiro specialises in transport and logistics solutions for the oil and gas industry, as well as handling large project cargoes and projects for the wind energy industry.
