Chapman completes pipe move

August 16 - Chapman Freeborn's Dubai office has coordinated the transport of 60 tons (54.4 tonnes) of pipe spooling from Sharjah, UAE to Houston, USA, on board a Boeing 747.

With the assistance of Magma Aviation, six crates of pipes of varying weights and dimensions were transported to Houston via Liege, Belgium.

Chapman Freeborn's cargo team completed a loadability assesment and provided packaging advice for the cargoes, the longest of which measured 13 m.

The oversized consignment was transferred from flatbed trucks onto high loaders using an external crane for the nose-loading operation in Sharjah.
