Following nine months of construction, Combi Lift’s mega barge Tomsk has been launched.
Built by Dutch shipbuilder Damen, the barge measures 111.75 m x 26.4 m and has a deadweight capacity of 5,700 tonnes. According to Combi Lift, it is almost twice the size of other barges in the company’s fleet.
The Damen Stan Pontoon 11226 RD is currently being finished in an outfitting yard. Upon completion, the barge will be used for a project in eastern Russia.
