COSCO Shipping Specialized Carriers (Southeast Asia) has opened a Philippines representative office in Manila.
The development of its presence in the Philippines forms part of the company’s global expansion and localised service strategy, said COSCO Shipping Specialized Carriers (Southeast Asia).
“The new office brings us closer to customers and strengthens our ability to respond to growing logistics demand driven by RCEP [the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership] and deepening China–Philippines cooperation, particularly in infrastructure, energy, and equipment manufacturing,” the company added.
Earlier this month, HLPFI reported that COSCO Shipping Specialized Carriers had placed an order for four 40,000 dwt multipurpose heavy lift vessels at CSSC’s Chengxi Shipyard.
