July 10 - Lone Star Transportation - part of the Daseke group of companies - has acquired Davenport Transport & Rigging.
The Davenport team will continue to operate its super-heavy transport group from its current facility in Angleton, Texas, with the added capacity and support of the Lone Star team in Fort Worth.
The two companies have already worked together on some impressive projects, including the transport of a 285-tonne reactor vessel (pictured below).
