"Everything is on track to float the ship out of the dry dock in September. Once the Forte is out of the dry dock, we will lower the keel block and begin to assemble Finesse while installation of equipment continues on Forte," says Philip Adkins (pictured below), Fairstar CEO.

The current focus is on delivering, blasting and painting the ship's assemblies; almost all of the 277 assemblies which comprise the Forte have been completed.

The heavy lift line is set to locate a number of ship's engineers from its vessels Fjell and Fjord to Forte as construction supervisors in the coming months.
