Forwarders should invest in training, says PPG

That is the view of Kevin Stephens the general manager of international over-dimensional project cargo network, the Project Professionals Group.

Mr Stephens has urged the freight forwarding industry to invest in their personnel and reap the rewards of improving employee skills and career paths.

He said PPG would host a Certificate of Achievement in Project Cargo Management course in Bremen, Germany from 28-29 October and could accommodate a further five attendees.

This course is open to all companies associated with supply chain management and logistics. The training focuses on problems and solutions through the use of case studies. A study tour of the local port and operations of Beluga Chartering is planned.
