The pontoons vary in length from 50-84 m and are equipped for both inland and offshore purposes.

Hebo ceo Marius Punt said: “We are very fortunate to have been given the opportunity to acquire these barges from Boskalis. They are a great addition to our fleet of barges and are necessary to fuel the increasing need for the projects of our clients. Furthermore by increasing the total size of the Hebo fleet to over 50 pontoons, they allow Hebo to increase market share in international barge charter.”

Earlier this month, Hebo acquired the floating sheerlag Taklift 4 from Boskalis, as HLPFI reported here.

Renamed the Hebo-lift 10, the self-propelled vessel has a lifting capacity of 1,995-tonnes and a 36 m beam extension.
