June 14 - Kuwait's Jassim Transport & Stevedoring (JTC) has placed an order for five Demag cranes, including four AC 100-4L models and one AC 250-6 all terrain crane.

The four-axle AC 100-4L all terrain crane features the most compact chassis in its class, while the AC 250-6 benefits from the longest main boom length in its capacity class with a length of 80 m, says Demag.

JTC ceo, Adel Kohari, said "The Demag AC 100-4L crane is extremely versatile, which means we can accomplish more lifts in less time than with similar sized units," he explains. "This new purchase is a part of several initiatives in support of the various infrastructure development projects that JTC is currently executing within the oil and gas and construction industries.

The five Demag all terrain cranes will join JTC's current fleet, which includes approximately 20 different models of Terex and Demag cranes, providing port management, contract logistics, equipment leasing and power rental services.
