Supply chain strategies for Latin America and the Caribbean will top the agenda at the conference, which will also tackle issues and look at regulations affecting its members in a series of interactive workshops hosted by industry experts.

"Understanding challenges as well as opportunities is key to developing and sustaining successful supply chains," said Doug Brittin, TIACA secretary general, speaking at a press briefing yesterday in London, UK.

Latin America topics will include a look at US and Mexico trans-border trade, as well as making the Brazilian air cargo market more competitive and the impact of advance data regimes on the region.

During the Miami AGM Neil Herrington, executive director, Americas, US Chamber of Commerce will give an overview of key US trade and business issues involving Latin America with a focus on infrastructure and growth opportunities.

Brittin concluded: "The Executive Summit and AGM provide an important opportunity for air freight supply chain executives to network with their peers and learn from the experts. It is also a great opportunity for industry to speak to regulators with a common voice."
