Lift & Shift claims a world record with India move

August 3 - India's Lift & Shift is claiming another record, having shipped what it says is the world's largest coke drum and vacuum column.

The pieces, which weighed 1,260 tonnes and 680 tonnes respectively, were fabricated by Larson & Toubro and transported to the IOCL Paradip refinery.

The load-out operation was carried out using 88 of Lift & Shift's self-propelled modular trailer axles and the cargo was loaded onto a ro-ro ship for final delivery.

Lift & Shift, an Apurva Natvar Parikh Group company, recently worked on the KNPC Project in Kuwait and on India's MRPL refinery project.
