Mercomar moves in San Lorenzo

Mercomar, part of the Robinson Group, has transported a turbine, generator and steam condenser, plus accessories, for a combined-cycle power plant in San Lorenzo, Argentina.

The turbine weighed 182 tons (165.1 tonnes) and measured 8.94 m x 5.3 m x 4.8 m; the generator tipped the scales at 134.1 tons (121.7 tonnes) and measured 8.9 m x 4.2 m x 3.6 m; while the condenser weighed 72 tons (65.3 tonnes) and had the dimensions of 11.6 m x 4.7 m x 4.8 m.

All equipment was moved from Terminal Zarate using a range of hydraulic modular trailers and semi-trailers.
