October 30 - Globalink Logistics Group has handled the relocation of military equipment from West Africa to Mongolia.

Globalink was subcontracted to move the 20 armoured personnel carriers and other military vehicles, including equipment of the Mongolian army, in four 40 ft containers.

The military cargo was transported via the Baltic Sea, and then on to Mongolia by a dedicated block train service. Considering the nature of the cargo, Globalink was required to obtain special permissions from the Russian and Estonian governments, as well as arranging special railway platforms and a military escort.

Globalink is a member of the Global Project Logistics Network (GPLN).
