Move One airlifts construction equipment to Afghanistan

March 4 - Move One has completed an enormous logistics operation involving the shipment of heavy units from Dubai to Kandahar.

The operation, part of the LOGCAP IV project, required the use of 18 full Antonov 124s and included the shipment of 40 potable water trucks; 29 non-potable water trucks; 18 flatbed trucks; 12 wheel loaders; 11 backhoes; five vacuum trucks; four motor graders; three compactors; and one fuel tank.

With 11 offices in Afghanistan, Move One says it has the experience and resources necessary to handle any logistical requirement in the region. Its services range from secure convoys, warehousing and online shipment tracking to air, sea, road and rail services, as well as PO (purchase order) management.
