Project freight forwarder DAKO Worldwide Transport has delivered 24 wind turbine blades from Qingdao, China to the ports of Cuxhaven and Rostock in Germany.

Each of the 24 NR74.5 blades measured almost 75 m long – around the size of an Airbus A380 wing.

The blades were secured on the deck of the vessel Atlantic Runner II and shipped to Germany, with DAKO coordinating all aspects of the shipment.

Last week, HLPFI reported that DAKO had delivered power plant components from Norway to Latin America.
