The event kicked off with an exclusive dinner cruise ahead of the first day of one-to-one meetings.

The first day also saw PCN’s annual awards, calculated from results of its recent quality control survey. International member of the year was presented to Thunderbolt Global Logistics; the regional award for the Middle East and Africa went to Afriguide Logistics from South Africa; the regional award for the Americas went to Convoy Logistics Providers in Canada; the regional award for Asia and the Pacific went to Central Oceans in Singapore; and the regional award for Europe went to Europe Cargo in Belgium.

The president’s awards were presented to Gebrüder Weiss in Austria and Canaan Shipping in Canada.

After a busy day in the meeting room, delegates were then welcomed at an exclusive beach party at the Dubai Marine Beach resort overlooking the Arabian Gulf.

This was followed by a second day of meetings, aided by the PCN countdown clock and PCN’s meeting hub schedules. In total, over 1,820 meetings took place over the two days.

PCN will hold its 12th annual summit at the Royal Cliff Hotel in Pattaya, Thailand, from November 12-14, 2023.
