Roll Group has appointed Representaciones Marítimas (Martimex) as the commercial agent for Rolldock Shipping in Mexico.
Roll Group said that it has appointed Maritimex to strengthen its business in the Mexican heavy lift market. The company has over 130 years of experience in the Mexican shipping sector and, according to Roll Group, is the country’s principal ship and commercial agency and provider of port and maritime transport services.
With a strong pipeline of projects across the Middle East, Roll Group is solidifying its presence in the region, particularly in Qatar and Saudi Arabia. It has established a substantial road fleet and a skilled local workforce to navigate the country’s complex transport landscape.
Roll Group, specialising in heavy haul and lifting solutions, has been active in the Middle East since 2020, with a presence in Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar, and Oman. The company says it is now positioned to become the second-largest inland transport operator in Saudi Arabia.
