Germany-headquartered SAL Heavy Lift has taken delivery of multipurpose vessel Sophie on long-term charter from Auerbach Schifffahrt.
Sister vessel to Svend, the newbuild F500 is equipped with two 250-tonne lifting capacity cranes and features a state-of-the-art design that emphasises efficiency.
The ship has been built to support demanding project, breakbulk and multipurpose shipments globally.
Having this year taken delivery of Svend, Carlotta and then Elise, SAL Heavy Lift is set to continue adding to its fleet in the new year.
