SAL Heavy Lift has welcomed its first Orca-class vessel, Elise, to its fleet.

Elise incorporates advanced technologies aimed at reducing environmental impact while maximising efficiency. The vessel features two 800-tonne lifting capacity electric cranes. SAL Heavy Lift said that a box-shaped cargo hold and innovative hatch cover system – including the unique “hatchcoverless” class notation – provides maximum flexibility. Equipped with a methanol-ready engine, the vessel is prepared for emission-neutral operations.
