January 13 - SK Shipping, based in Seoul, South Korea, has established a dedicated heavy lift and project cargo team to target ocean and inland transportation of heavy and project cargo for the offshore business.

The team is shortly to reveal its first shipment, says the company.

SK Shipping is a subsidiary of the SK business group in Korea.

The heavy lift and project team has access to a star-of-the-art heavy lift vessel as well as all management systems in place. SK Shipping currently offers services using tanker and LNG ships as well as bunkering.

The team is headed by Sang Hun Seo, based in Seoul, who is assisted by Steven Jo as deputy senior manager and Sang Kyu Park as manager.
