May 12 - Khimji Ramdas has coordinated the unloading of subsea mining equipment at the Port of Duqm in Oman.

"Khimji Ramdas were instrumental in providing on-shore freight management services for our client at the Port of Duqm. The SPT (static pressure test) equipment is to be used as part of a pilot project undertaken by the Omani government to develop the mining sector," said assistant divisional manager of business development, Chacko Jose.

Meanwhile, Khimji Ramdas has also handled the delivery of eight bitumen tanks from Sohar Port to a site in Rumez, Oman by road.

The company was responsible for conducting a route and site survey, as well as finding suitable equipment to transport the tanks. Accompanied by escort cars and police, the out-of-gauge units were moved two-at-a-time on trucks from the port to the site at night.
