December 14 - Terex Port Solutions (TPS) has strengthened its position in the Asia Pacific with the delivery of four mobile harbour cranes to the region.

In November 2015, TPS delivered two Terex Gottwald Model 6 mobile harbour cranes to the Port of Napier on New Zealand's North Island; while Northport invested in a Terex Gottwald Model 4 mobile harbour crane for use at Marsden Point, also on North Island.

Northport's new crane - a G HMK 4406 variant - has a maximum lifting capacity of 100 tonnes, a working radius of up to 46 m and maximum hoisting speeds of 120 m/min.

The start of 2016 will also see the first ever Terex QuaymateTM M50 mobile harbour crane be delivered to Australia.

For the Northport order, TPS worked closely with New Zealand distributor TLL. The company's owner, Ross Easton, commented that Northport is now ideally equipped to handled containers and heavy general cargo with its new mobile harbour crane.
