April 23 - Aaras Shipping Agencies' stevedores have handled discharging operations for three vessels calling at Pakistan's Karachi port, loaded with a number of heavy and oversize units, with a combined weight of 73,724 tonnes.

April 23 - Aaras Shipping Agencies' stevedores have handled discharging operations for three vessels calling at Pakistan's Karachi port, loaded with a number of heavy and oversize units, with a combined weight of 73,724 tonnes.

Ming Yuan called at Karachi carrying 2,196 individual cargoes for a number of power generation projects under development in the country, including steam turbine generators and auxiliaries for the Chiniot Power Plant in Punjab.
 
Pacific Ace arrived at the Pakistani gateway with 6,103 breakbulk items aboard, weighing a totaled of 20,768 tonnes. Thereafter, Pacific Pride called with 25,118 units for multiple ongoing oil and gas projects being undertaken by Chitral Oil and Ghee Industries, amounting to over 45,000 tonnes.
 
The stevedore team of Aaras worked day and night on all three shipments to facilitate the fast turnaround of the vessels to their onward destinations.
