European shortsea shipping firm Wijnne Barends is to relocate from Delfzijl, the Netherlands, to Groningen, also in the Netherlands.
Since its establishment in 1855, Wijnne Barends has been based out of Delfzijl. However, as part of the company’s development, it will be moving to a modern office building in Groningen from summer 2026, which it will share with sister company ForestWave.
Wijnne Barends Logistics and Wijnne Barends Agency will stay at the firm’s office building at the port of Delfzijl, so that its services remain operationally close.
