July 19 - Consolidated Shipping Services (CSS) and Peters & May recently handled the shipment of yachts to and from Jebel Ali, writes Adam Flensborg Safikhany.
The first shipment of a Princess P64 Yacht was over 825 cu m and was loaded on a CMA CGM container ship in Southampton, then transported to Jebel Ali where, on discharge, it continued to Doha under its own steam.
In addition, CSS and Peters & May handled the shipment of a 2002 SunseekerManhattan 78. The approximately 1,064 cu m consignment was loaded onto Maersk's container ship, Leda Mearsk with the help of specialist divers and special lifting crew from DP World, and then transported from Jebel Ali to Genoa.
