Geodis Wilson names USA boss

July 30 - Michael Greco has been appointed managing director of Geodis Wilson (GW) in the USA.

According to the John Gallahan, regional vice president Americas: "Michael brings a skill-set oriented towards building and motivating effective teams, which will be vital to us over the coming months as we implement our growth strategy in the US."

 Today, GW operates 15 offices employing 403 staff in the USA. With the appointment of Greco the company will focus on trade lane growth in the emerging markets of Brazil, China and India. According to GW, the sales and operational teams will be strengthened to support its clients supply chains particularly in the oil and gas, hi-tech, automotive logistics and the FMCG industries, amongst others.
