UTC Overseas has appointed Ralph Stierli as director of special projects.
Stierli has more 30 years of experience in global forwarding and project logistics, with a strong focus on the renewable and solar energy sectors. He has built an extensive career spanning the Caribbean, Central America, Mexico, Spain, and, over the last two decades, the USA.
He brings strong regional and international knowledge and is a subject matter expert in warehousing, distribution centres and complex project logistics.
In his new role, Stierli will help expand and strengthen UTC’s well-established footprint within the renewable energy, battery energy storage systems (BESS) and data centre industries with a goal of developing strategic relationships and long-term, value-driven partnerships.
The UTC team was also bolstered earlier this year with the appointment of Pedro Widmann as director, global project development.
