Portugal’s Laso Transportes and Tagar Group have formed a strategic partnership aimed at expanding and consolidating their presence in the lifting and transport sector.
According to Laso, the alliance was born out of the shared vision of the two groups. Both have been strengthening their structures, investing in technology and equipment and consolidating their presence in the market.
For its part, Laso recently invested in a new complex worth EUR10 million (USD10.5 million) in the Basque Country, Spain, which will open later this year and feature offices, workshops, a fleet park and a 20,000 sq m equipment storage area. Last year, it boosted its equipment fleet with the addition of 10 new Mercedes 8 x 4 heavy-duty prime movers.
Laso added that, with the partnership, both companies will be able to offer integrated solutions, contributing to the development and growth of its customers.
