Türkiye will host a trade event dedicated to load engineering services when LES-EXPO 2026 takes place in Istanbul from April 7–9, 2026.

The show aims to bring together more than 200 companies and 10,000 professionals involved in the engineering, lifting, transport and installation of large and complex components across Europe, Asia and Africa.

Backed by the Union of Load Engineering Services (YMB) and KFA Fairs, the event will spotlight Türkiye’s growing role in the sector. YMB estimates that the domestic market for engineered lifting and transport services is worth around USD15 billion, with more than 5,000 companies active and Turkish contractors increasingly securing complex projects overseas. Organisers said the country has a potential USD50 billion growth opportunity as demand for heavy industrial, energy and infrastructure projects accelerates.

YMB president Ahmet Altunkum highlighted recent milestones, including the world’s “highest and heaviest” crane lift during construction of the 1915 Çanakkale Bridge and major offshore and energy projects in the Middle East. LES-EXPO will feature technical presentations, seminars and panel discussions covering engineered lifting, transport planning and the execution of high-risk industrial moves.
