USA-based crane manufacturer Manitowoc has moved to a new office and workshop for its Australian operations, located just outside Sydney.
To cater to growing demands of its regional customers, the facility provides extra space – up from 7,400 sq m to 20,000 sq m – as well as updated equipment. The site now boasts a larger office space, workshop, and parts storage space, along with EnCORE crane refurbishment services, a training centre, sales office and large hardstand yard space.
“Our new facility will allow us to better serve customers by improving service and repair capabilities, increasing parts availability, and offering more efficient training and testing spaces,” said John Stewart, general manager, Manitowoc. “We’re excited to see our aftersales team grow as we expand our capacity to support both new and used equipment, making it easier for our customers to receive high-quality service for all their equipment needs.”
By the end of the year, Manitowoc intends to both add to its workforce and broaden its product range – ultimately leading to further business growth.
Last month, Manitowoc opened an office in Colombia.
