October 23 - An engineering team from HANSA HEAVY LIFT (HHL) safely loaded five reactors - two weighing x 930 tonnes in Mumbai and three weighing 360 tonnes in Dahej on the southwest coast of Gujarat, in the Gulf of Cambay) onto the HHL vessel Richards Ba

The lift in Mumbai was the heaviest cargo ever loaded from the quayside at the Indian port. "We could load the reactors only during the spring tide due to the heavy weight," explained HHL ceo Tomas Dyrbye.

Despite it being the monsoon season, HHL said the cargo was offloaded one week later in the deep water port of Paradip on the East coast of India in the Jagatsinghpur district of Orissa on the Bay of Bengal.
