The iconic Congress Parkway bridge is in downtown Chicago and is noted by architects as being one of the most unusually designed of the Chicago bridges because it uses the Warren truss configuration rather than the Pratt.

Imperial was hired by Omega Demolition and Walsh Construction to begin removal of the current open grid deck of the bridge which will be replaced with a closed deck system. Two 115 tonne Liebherr cranes were used to complete the dismantling.
