The nine-axle all-terrain crane has a lifting capacity of 800 tonnes and has been developed to ensure short set-up times and efficient mobility. The telescopic boom can be carried when driving on public roads, while the Y guying boom system enables the crane to execute heavier lifts.

According to Liebherr, the crane will be deployed on wind farms and in the oil and gas industries.

Locar’s innovation and fleet management director, Amilcar Spinetti Filho, said: “Despite the current political situation, we strongly believe in the country’s growth and so we are investing in the renewal and increase of the fleet.”
