June 17 - Mammoet Europe bv has expressed its intention to sell a large part of its maritime fleet to Hebo Maritiemservice bv.

Mammoet said that as it increases its focus on offshore activities, its maritime inland activities do not sufficiently support the company's strategy any longer.

Careful consideration of the future of Mammoet Maritime and its employees has led to the intended sale of vessels, floating cranes, barges and tugs to Hebo Maritiemservice.

Maritime equipment from Schiedam, Lelystad (the Netherlands) and Mülheim (Germany) will be acquired by Hebo Maritiemservice, while the real estate in Schiedam will remain the property of Mammoet Europe.
