Italian company Societa Autotrasporti Eccezionali (SAE) has acquired a pair of new six-axle MegaMAX lowbed trailers from Faymonville to support its activities in the wind energy market.
These trailers with their telescopic and hydraulically widening beams, are specifically designed for the movement of the heaviest tower sections. The basic length lower deck is 8.9 m with an additional extension of 5.5 m.
Thanks to the use of cranked axles, a minimum loading height of only 765 mm on top of the bogie can be achieved in driving position, allow to load towers over the full trailer length.
