The AC 5.250L-2 will be used on a wide range of projects, from major industrial installations to compact urban construction sites, thanks to its 79-m main boom and a maximum system length of 109 m. The all-terrain crane can stay under the 12-tonne axle load limit, meaning it can travel quickly and easily between sites without needing special permits.

“We already operate several Tadano all-terrain cranes, which demonstrate excellent performance and reliability”, said Peggy Guenault, general manager of Sotrama. “We have just received our new crane, equipped with the necessary extensions to extend the boom to 91 m, and it is already in operation. We are not wasting any time. Such a reach on a 250-tonne crane is simply remarkable.”

Fitted with self-erecting jib extensions and the advanced IC-1 Plus control means that AC 5.250L-2 offers high-level lifting performance in all conditions. Its surround view camera system enhances both the speed and safety of jobsite setup, too.

Last month, Tadano made leadership changes to its team in Europe.
