Mexico-based Tradelossa has ordered a Goldhofer Faktor 5 high girder bridge module.

The 100-ton (90.7-tonne) high girder bridge is capable of transporting cargoes weighing up to 500 tons (453.6 tonnes). The length and width of the module can also be adjusted, meaning it can handle loads that measure up to 6.75 m wide and up to 17 m long.

The unit increases Tradelosa's transport capacity and will enable it to handle the increasing demand for its services, which includes all-in-one solutions for the heavy haul and abnormal load transportation industry.

Rafael de los Santos, managing director at Tradelossa, said: "Tradelossa is committed to continuously invest in world class equipment to serve its customers and meet their requirements to the full.

"The heavy haul industry is an industry that requires a slim, flexible and creative management. To evolve, invest wisely, and push yourself is the only way to guarantee you will remain in this business in the near future."

The module will join Tradelossa's fleet, which includes an older Goldhofer high girder bridge and over 150 Goldhofer axle lines, later this month.
